Dating back to the 16th century with a wood carved screen and beautiful wall paintings.

Aρχαία Βρυκούς
One of the large cities of Karpathos that flourished from at least the 5th century BC. One can notice the walls and the remains of houses (4th - 3rd century BC). At Vrykounda there is a small collection with various findings.

It is located 1:30 hours on foot from Avlona village. The area is extremely beautiful.

Όρμος Τρίστομο
It is located north and it is a deep, natural port well protected from the winds. It used to be ancient Vrykounda's port.
